Re: The Sonos*** player is turned off or inaccessible. [2123]

Hi there Ludek, 1) put http://192.168.188.21:12904/ItemID=1.flac into address bar of an internet browser (Chrome/Firefox) or just click the link here (when MM5 is running) to verify that the file is accessible and playable on the network The browser doesn't play the file with this link. But it did, ...

Re: SUGGESTION - default installation path in Windows

Actually i myself can live with the manually changing of the installation path. I change it for the same reasons like inverso - to keep the root as clean as possible. But if ... how about c:/portableapps/Mediamonkey 5 as a default installation path? Installing it in a windows system directory will p...

Re: The Sonos*** player is turned off or inaccessible. [2123]

So many questions so little time. But i will begin to deliver answers :) if you go to Options > Media Sharing > Server > [Server] tab what is the IP address there? There is a concrete ip. Changing to 'automatic' did not solve the problem. ensure that the track being served is not a deadlink. I can p...

Re: The Sonos*** player is turned off or inaccessible. [2123]

Hi stuff, unfortunately the errors occur the same with the new alpha 2126. Tried it with an installation over my current alpha installation and with an all clean installation (only added my licence). I may add that the Sonos system receives the folder.jpg. It is shown. Though the music is missing. g...

Re: The Sonos*** player is turned off or inaccessible. [2123]

Hello Peke, i did how requested, but the effect is the same. Maybe the error message from the Sonos controller can help? >>Playback from "Song name" not possible - Connection with 192.*my network".21:20266 not possible.<< 21 is not the Sonos but my desktop computer, where MM5 is running. Update: sam...

By the way ....
The column browser opening above the header (header!) looks quite odd ;-).
Not sure what you mean? Place is the same as in MM4.
There is no header in MM4. It is new to MM5. A header should be on top. Like the name says. Simply looking better :)

Re: Navigation

I can see the 'list view' under 'location' (as a part of each collection branch) too. And i see it in the 'folder' part, where the computer environment with its hdds and network details is shown. That said i have to admit that the navigation isn't as easy as i navigate through MM4. Especially i have...

Re: Albums do not Honor Collection Criteria

I can confirm what AlanH is telling about. Got this effect too, when an orchestra did the same symphony with different conductors through the years. Or viceversa, if the conductor is the 'album artist' and did the same musical piece with the same or different orchestras. Question @johnnysocco. did t...

Re: Issues with Collections/Tree Nodes/Views

Hi Davo, the part "Continuing this discussion (with myself it appears :( )( " made me laugh. I hope it's self irony which i like. For the rest ... you deliver a lot of of very fine approaches to optimize the MM. The reason why noone else contribute to the thread may be its length. It is very difficu...

Re: Artist Images searching

Hi Davo, hi MM stuff,

i have turned off the automatic search too. I am not quite sure, but MM may remember images when i did a wikipedia research (via 'Find more from same ...') for there are images of artists or composers from time to time.

greetings
