Re: Custom Field Headings are not transferred vom MM4 to MM5 [#15553]

I have never installed MM4 as portable. I have searched through all of my HDDs and found MediaMonkey.ini only on: C:\Users\[me]\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey - the place of my MM5 installation (portable) on D: - my automatic saves of MM4 with the Backup addon (also on D:) I have now deleted MM5 comple...

Re: Crash when trying to add a new field

This is unchanged in 5.0.0.2166.

BTW, I can avoid having to use the Task Manager when I select to restart MM5 in safe mode.

Custom Field Headings are not transferred vom MM4 to MM5 [#15553]

I have given some Custom Fields in MM4 some other names to simplify my tagging. Unfortunately these Custom Fields Headings are not transferred to MM5 while the content of these fields is transferred correctly to MM5.

Re: No undo function in MM5

It happens so often that I accidentally delete the wrong song from a playlist or I am unhappy with some changes to tags that I did. Just clicking on an undo button would save me a lot of time. While I fear that it is already too late now for MM5 I anyway would like to see this as a feature request. ...

Re: No undo function in MM5

When creating or changing playlists, changing tags and artwork, volume levelling, renaming or even deleting files I´d love to see an undo-function. In general anything I do to organize my music collection. One simple example: When I select a song I sometimes accidently click on the rating stars (thi...

No undo function in MM5 [#15531]

I am quite disappointed that there is still no undo function in MM5. This is quite standard in nearly any modern software and could really bring MediaMonkey to a new level.

is there anything planned for the future?

Re: Had a very bad start with MM5

Thanks, that did help, I can now use MM5 normally. Is there a chance to get MM4 back to using MM.db with the correct path? I feel pretty uneasy that something is wrong there, especially considering the hundreds of hours I spend with creating this database. BTW, I deleted the box.com files, a little ...

Re: Had a very bad start with MM5

I have checked for MM.db on my HDDs and found these paths: C:\Users\.....\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey (this is from today) C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey (from November 2018) C:\Users\.....\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey (from August 2018) And a number of locations on...

Added later: I have only one installation of MM4 and it is not portable.

Had a very bad start with MM5

For the 1st time I tried out MM5, version 5.0.0.2164. I installed the portable version in a seperate folder and followed the suggestion to import from MM4. There the 1st problem started. What was imported was not my current MM4 database! It is one from at least some weeks ago, with some Music missin...
