Yeah--I tried that. I am logged on as administrator. It still won't work. I also tried to find a way to run the installer as administrator but that option is not available.

Installation error

I would love to use this (and other scripts); however all I get is an installation error message every time I try to install one of the scripts. Can they be manually installed? BTW, I have Vista on my machine if that makes a difference.

Thanks,
John

Leveling (analyzing volume) -- m4ps

All of the m4ps in my library are set at +68dB (track volume) which really messes up leveling when synching (volume is all over teh place). I get an error message (something like the file cannot be decoded because of DRM) and so the volume analysis does not work. Are there any workarounds for this? ...

Songs chopped off on iPod Classic (20GB)

I have searched but not found a posting on this. I synched my wife's old iPod classic (20GB) and it seemed to work fine. I noticed when playing the songs that the m4p and m4a files were chopped off at the end (just the last few seconds--but very noticable and annoying; converted FLACs and mp3s are f...

Rusty, I just noticed this post. I have had similar issues with m4a files--it changes the track number on the PC... I am not sure if this happens when syncing or when trying to update the tags. i have not had time to ry this, since I have not been using MM3 to sync. Now that the iPod bugs are gettin...

MediaMonkey Gold Registration Information on Update

This is maybe a trivial "concern"; but annoying anyway... Is it maybe possible to maintain the registration information when upgrading? It gets pretty tiresome having to reenter the MM registration info every time MM is installed. Again, a small issue--but one that would raise the bar on the "custom...

I have had this issue as well. I usually unselect save to file and just save to folder and this seems to work fine. I agree it would be nice to be able to use the default selections...

BTW, when trying to convert the m4x files (especially m4p; see above) MM3 will sometimes either hang or completely crash. This did result in two error messages that were automatically generated--they have been sent to you for analysis. i hope it helps. i would REALLY like to get his resolved... Than...

I don't know what to tell you. I have updated to RC3, restored my iPod (30G Video Classic with newest firmware DL'ed today), and tried to auto sync a test list with the following file types: - mp3 - m4p - flac - m4a (ripped CD with iTunes) - m4a (purchased through iTunes Plus) The flac file converte...

OK--I am back to the sync not working. I upgraded to the newest iTunes (BIG mistake) and issues with QuickTime not playing m4p's. I returned to the old iTunes and QuickTime and everything plays correctly again in QuickTime and MM3--BUT MM3 now wants to convert m4a, and m4p (AUDIO) files--no matter w...

The files are linked (folder.jpg); I seem to have issues trying to embed art into Flacs and uncheck that option when tagging art. I am auto-syncing and converting to MP3s. I have the device config set up to sync all art to folders (folder.jpg) and force itunes style folders (copy to tags and remove ...

I uninstalled MM3 and reinstalled RC2. I also restored my iPod with iTunes. I then tried to sync and everything worked fine (mp3s, m4ps, and converted flacs -- except album art with converted Flacs--no art). At this time I don't know if the reinstall or the restore was the main factor. I will furthe...

RC2 iPod Sync (auto-conversion rules fail) [4121]

The good news: mp4 files now play... The bad news: MM3 RC2 still trys to convert mp4 files to mp3 (even though I have it set to only convert Flacs) and of course fails miserably. It also converts m4a files to mp3 and sometimes sseems to ignore flacs (although sometimes it works). I have a couple of ...
