Re: Can I remove underlines in Album Art view?

No, theres no way to remove that as of the latest MM version. That's unfortunate. I saw a screenshot some time back of a beta version that did not have the underlines, and I thought it looked much nicer that way. Just my opinion of course. If you look at other music managers such as Winamp o...

Can I remove underlines in Album Art view?

Is there any way to remove the underlines in Album Art view? It may be nit-picking, but I don't care for the look of the underlined text. Thanks.

Problem with Comment field on MP3 files

When adding new MP3 tracks to the library, MediaMonkey fails to import the Comment field from ID3v1 tags. It will only import the Comment field from tracks with an ID3v2 tag. Most of my MP3 files only have a v1 tag, and the comment field is ignored. This problem did not exist in MM2.5. Also, there i...

Re: Leave the icon alone!

For anyone who doesn't like the new icon, here is one I made that can be used for your shortcuts. This is what it looks like compared to the current icon. http://www.imptec.com/graphics/mm_icons.png I personally prefer a simpler, cleaner look. Of course, you can only change your shortcuts or desktop...

Blue Glass - New Modified Version

Hi everyone - I have modified the MM3 Blue Glass skin to be more to my liking, and hopefully some of you will like it better too. You can download the modified skin below. Since this skin is included with MediaMonkey, I think it's OK to provide a copy. If not, let me know. Here are the changes I mad...

Re: Edit Box Selection Color

Thanks very much DreadM, that did the trick! It can be difficult to find things in the Theme Editor, and the selected color for edit boxes and combo boxes are changed in two completely different places. The change did not cause any problems with the search box, so I don't see any need for the light ...

Re: Edit Box Selection Color

they are different cause the skin creator wanted it different. How do you know that? Did you ask the person who created the Blue Glass skin? If not, then you should not make such statements. I seriously doubt that any skinner would do this intentionally. Maybe they didn't test out the selection col...

Edit Box Selection Color

How can I change the selection color in edit boxes? In the Blue Glass skin, if you bring up the Track Properties dialog and select some text in an edit box (for example the "Track Title"), the selection color is a very light blue. If you select some text in one of the combo boxes (for exam...

Re: Message Box Text Cut Off

UPDATE: I found the problem! All of these strange text problems are due to one value I changed in the Registry years ago. It has been so long, I had completely forgotten about this tweak. Sorry about that, my bad. This tweak is not totally unknown, so for anyone else who might run into this problem ...

Re: Message Box Text Cut Off

You still did not say whether the font changes or not when you mouse over the text boxes in the Track Properties. On my system, the font changes every time I move the cursor over a text field. If this is something that the skin is designed to do as you speculated, then it should do it on your system...

Re: Message Box Text Cut Off

RovingCowboy: As I said, I have played with Windows settings but there was no effect. The various system font settings under Display > Appearance > Advanced are set to size 8 which is the normal default size for XP, so I should not have to change them. I have tried using both MS Sans Serif and Tahom...

Thanks guys. I feel that this is a bug in MM, but I don't know why I'm the only one affected. I have played with Windows settings, but nothing seems to affect the problem. I do use Tweak UI for XP, but it has no font settings. None of my other programs have any font display problems. I still have Me...

Sorry cowboy, but you are wrong on this one. The message box is not made by Windows, it is made by MediaMonkey. It does not use the Windows desktop theme, it uses the currently selected MediaMonkey skin. It is this skin that determines the font. My system message box font is set to "Microsoft S...

The font size is set to "Normal". It is not a large font at all.

If you try to duplicate the problem like I described, do you not see the problem?
