Need a new option under "Convert Audio Format"

MediaMonkey needs a new option in the "Convert Tracks" dialog called something like "Add converted files to library". If I select an album, select a few tracks, and then click "Tools > Convert Audio Format" and go through the process to convert say from MP3 to WAV, the ...

Audio CD Burning Problems

I'm using build 2.5.1.934 (registered) on XP SP2. When burning an audio CD (from MP3 files), the tracks are not being volume leveled. The "Level volume" option is definitely checked. The "Target Volume Level for Burning Audio CDs" is set to 89dB. After burning a CD I ripped a cou...

Thanks Lowlander. I'll have to report this as a bug. It's not changing the levels at all. I tried burning a CD again with "Level volume" checked, then ripped a couple tracks back off to WAV files, and then compared these WAV files to the original MP3 files in a wave editor program (GoldWav...

drummer - What kind of monitor are you using? What resolution is it set to? If you're using a 17" LCD at 1280x1024 resolution, then of course everything will be extremely tiny. These LCD makers must think we all have bionic eyeballs.

Write Method is always blank

I have to keep selecting the Write Method in the Disk Burning Wizard. It keeps coming up blank. It should at least come up on some default. Other items seem to be remembered. I'm using build 2.5.1.934 on XP SP2.

There is already an option on convert dialog to replace the converted files. "Convert track(s), replacing the originals" "Convert track(s) to new destination" I am converting the tracks to a new destination. I don't want to replace the originals, so I don't know what your point ...

tbessie: They certainly *are* duplicates as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if the new listings represent different files. If I convert all the tracks in an album, now every time I play that album each song will be played TWICE. That certainly seems like duplication to me, and I don't know why an...

Converting format adds duplicate tracks to library!

If I select an album, then select a few tracks, and then click "Convert Audio Format" and go through the process to say convert from MP3 to WAV, the new WAV files are automatically added to my album. Now I have duplicates of each track in the track list, one MP3 and one WAV! This happens e...

Just a quick observation. I tried converting some of the tracks from MP3 files to WAV (with "Level Track Volume" checked), and it worked great. The volume was properly leveled. So it's only a problem when burning an audio CD. When playing or converting files the leveling works fine. I also...

How do you know the songs aren't levelled? In other words how did you detect this? I used my ears. The tracks I'm burning vary greatly in volume (over 8 dB) so it's very obvious. When I play the CD there is a big change in volume between certain tracks. When I listen to the tracks in MM with "...

Volume leveling does not work when burning a CD

I have tried to burn an audio CD twice now, but the tracks are not being volume leveled. The "Level volume" option was checked and MM went through a long process of preparing each track before it burned the disk, yet the tracks are definitely not being leveled. Is there some trick to this?...

I find myself constantly switching the Album Art between "Selected" and "Now Playing". I would like to see this handled automatically. Whenever nothing is currently playing, if I select some album or track the corresponding album art should ALWAYS be shown. If there is something ...

"Play Now" problem on single track

If I select an album and then select 2 or 3 tracks in the track list and then press <Enter>, the selected tracks are added to the playlist and begin to play as they should. However, if I only select 1 track in the track list and then press <Enter>, ALL the tracks in the album are added to the playli...

Afaik, the '+ next to things that can't be expanded' is a well know windows explorer (at least WinXP explorer) bug, that M$ have failed to fix for years (MM seems to be built on top of Explorer). No way to fix it if you are not Micro$oft. I don't think that is true. Even in XP the Windows Explorer ...
