Re: Track Redirection & Synchronization 3.3.2 (2010-03-21) [
Did some looking around and that error message has to do with an invalid path or invalid permissions. When I went to create an .asx file on my local drive, per your request, I found the problem: The script is inserting a capital "A" at the start of the UNC Path in the destination path box....

Re: Track Redirection & Synchronization 3.3.2 (2010-03-21) [
I am trying to Create Redirections for Specified Tracks... I have one track highlighted (the desired master track). I'm getting this error: Error # 3004 - ADODB.Stream Write to file failed. File: "C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\TrackRedirection.vbs", Line: 8433, Column: 8 ...

Re: iPhone 4 not detected!
My daughter won a refurbed 1st gen iPod Touch last Friday. MM 3.2.2.1300 Accidentally, updated iTunes on 11/13/2010 to 10.1 (my iPhone 3GS used to sync before this) Windows XP Pro 32-bit I tried all the things that firefly_sunny tried and I can't get MM to recognize my iPhone or the 1st gen iPod tou...

Search-Allow metadata as a value
After moving my music to a new hard drive outside of MM, I used the Locate Moved/Missing Tracks function on my whole library. I'm finding many random instances where the database record did not get matched up to the correct file on the drive. It's so random that it's hard to find in a sea of 90,000 ...

Search-Return full album when any tracks meet criteria
Advanced Search and Auto-Playlists should get a checkbox so that the user can choose to have the search/auto-playlist results return all tracks in an album regardless of the number of tracks that meet the search/filter criteria. If I'm using "Last Played < 5 days ago". I would sometimes li...

Option to Turn Off Playlist Scanning on Classification Tab
Is this already possible to do (like in a config setting)? Can the Classification Tab be set to ignore the polling of playlists? I'm running MM over a network where the files and database are centrally located (not on my machine that's running MM). I like to use the Classification Tab for categorizi...

Re: LyricsPlugin: how to upgrade to 0.3
I fixed it by modifying WebSearch.xml: Where is this file found? <url>http://www.lyricsplugin.com/winamp03/plugin/?title=%title%&artist=%artist%</url> What do I do with this string? WebSearch.xml is found in the Scripts\Auto folder of your MM installation directory (usually Program Files\MediaM...

@bojangles - I have confirmed with the devs that my script is picking up the .ini file in the same way as MM. Are you sure that MM is using the .ini file you think it is? I'm sure that MM3 is using the .ini file in ....\Local Settings\Application Data\MediaMonkey because I had to edit that to resto...

4.6 doesn't seem to be using the correct MediaMonkey.ini file for me on Vista with MM3. In the GetIniPath() function, it seems like you would want to look in the db folder first, since the existing code check it last and it will always find a MediaMonkey.ini file in the programs folder. I don't thi...

Thanks for the fix, but I had disastrous results. I got farther this time. Initializing the script worked fine. I was able to look at the options panel. When I went into the options for AutoDJ, I set the playlist to RadioDJ plug-in for AutoDJ. When I hit OK on that options panel, I got this error: E...
