Re: Upgraded and now podcast subscriptions don't work
Is the bug report still open for the long URL problem? The comments are a little confusing. ("Works in MM5", "Updated").

Re: Upgraded and now podcast subscriptions don't work
I forwarded the token to support, but there has not been a response. How can I find out if this issue will be addressed?

Subscription Problems - Dave Ramsey
Back in 2012, I posted about problems I was having subscribing to Dave Ramsey's podcast. My current subscription is on an XP computer with MM Version 3. I tried to move the subscription to my Gold version of MM4 at the office, but when I paste the subscription link (the same one that works at home),...

Re: Understanding Skins and Visualizations
I like the one I used in Version 3, but when I load it into 4, it's black.

Understanding Skins and Visualizations
When I installed 4.1.3.1708, the MM interface or desktop used a very dark theme or appearance that was very hard to read. After playing around with everything that seemed to make sense, the only way that I could get a usable interface was to check "Override Skin theme with Windows System theme ...

Re: Automatically Start with Windows
I understand. I wonder why not, though. It cannot be that difficult since so many other programs include that option. Not having it is a major problem for me since I use MM to download podcasts on an unattended computer. Sometimes against all odds, that computer reboots. I have to remember to check ...

Automatically Start with Windows
Is there a reason that the option to have MMW automatically start with Windows was not included in the latest release?

Re: Upgraded and now podcast subscriptions don't work
I still cannot get MediaMonkey to download Dave Ramsey's podcasts. Apparently the URL with the paid token is too long. It works fine with version 3, but version 4 is a no go. When Version 4 didn't work, I tried to roll back to version 3, but all I get is a splash screen (XP), and I have to end the t...

Re: Mask Syntax
Thanks, jiri. It very well could be a Sansa Fuze problem. It would be nice to know whether anyone else here with a Fuze is experiencing similar behavior. There are quite a few posts about the Fuze.
If the problem is not MM, then upgrading to 4.0.2 is not going to solve the problem.

Re: Mask Syntax
Okay, so I've stumped the experts. That must mean that the problem is a bug in MediaMonkey. Numbers are appearing from nowhere.
Does anyone know if Version 4 has this same problem? I passed on the upgrade because I'm willing to bet it's not fixed.

Re: Mask Syntax
Maybe I spoke too soon, or maybe there is a different problem. Sometimes when I "Send to" podcasts to my Fuze, even though the MP3 tags in MM appear to be perfect, the Fuze ends up with folder names that have alphanumeric prefixes. For example, a folder is named "E40A0000_Podcasts&quo...

Re: Mask Syntax
So for anyone reading this far, here is the correct mask that is confirmed to work on the Sansa Fuze:
Code: Select all
$If(<Genre>=Podcast,\Podcasts\,$If(<Genre>=Audiobook,\Audiobooks\,\Music\))<Album>\<Title>

Re: Mask Syntax
I just did a copy and paste of the mask above, and it does not work correctly. The folder structure on the Fuze looks like the preview above. There was a folder with a comma for a name, the root folder started if "If", etc. I'll try to work through the problem, but it would be great to not...

Re: Mask Syntax
Ok. That's good to know. Thanks.
Is there a better guide to creating a mask than the very simple one in the Help file? That guide does not show nested commands.
