EAccessViolation??

Postby chrisjames_71 » Wed Sep 09, 2009 4:30 pm

Hey folks, just upgraded to iTunes 9 and when I opened MM to retag some tunes, I got the following message:

Exception EAccessViolation in module d_iPhone.dll at 733DB11B.
Access violation at address 733DB11B. Read of address 733DB11B.

Any thoughts on what this is?? Thanks!! Oh I am running iTouch 3.0 software and do not use MM to sync it. I just use it as my default player and tagger.

Same problem here. I renamed the file with a .bad at the end. Was definitely caused by the iTunes 9.0 update. I tried to fix this by unchecking the iPhone and iPod devices in the Portable/Audio Devices section of the MM options, but that seemed to have no effect. Still crashed. Renaming the problem file fixed it.

Same issue here too. Looking in older issues seems to be related to Quicktime. Verified that if I uninstall Quicktime 7, MediaMonkey starts with no issues - though iTunes won't work. Reinstalling Quicktime causes iTunes to work and MediaMonkey to fail.

Where is the iphone.dll located? I need to kill this too. It's pissing me off. God i wish there was a way to completely make MM NOT have ANY affiliation with anything to do with ipod, iphone, itunes, or anything Apple!

Same Problem.
After installation of iTunes 9 my Media Monkey worked in Version 3.01, but after installation of the new Media Monkey Version 3.11 it crashed.
I deleted the iPhone file.
I think Media Monkeys iPhone Driver doesn't work correct.

Thank You guys so much for this fix. I had this happen to me before with nearly every one of my programs. Unfortunately, I fixed it by completely wiping the hard drive. No need for that this time. Thanks again for saving me a lot of hassle.

Where do I find the .dll file? I'm new to Windows 7 and doing a search didn't bring up the file.
