Script to delete all album art.

Post by jakestaby » Tue Jun 13, 2006 4:11 pm

I've searched these forums for hours for something like this as well as google, but haven't been able to find anything. Basically, I have a lot of songs where the image is embedded to the mp3 itself, but they aren't coming across correct, and a lot are erroneous. I'd like to wipe them all out and start from square one.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure you can do this for all songs at once.

Thru scripting this probably is possible, but I don't think such a script exists yet.

My "Album Art Tagger" certainly will do it, to all the selected tracks! :)
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.
All the code for my website and scripts is safely backed up immediately and for free using Dropbox.

Is it possible to remove all album art EXCEPT embedded "Cover" image?

in that case i would suggest to install magic nodes

with the mask "Covers\<cover storage>"

it shows a node "covers" and two subnodes "unknown" and "tag"
so you can easily choose the ones that doesn't have the covers
embedded.

maybe this helps
