Is it possible to filter songs?

My computer holds music for me, my wife, and my two kids. All of it is handled by MediaMonkey. I would dearly love to be able to filter out my wife's and kids music so I can see just my music. And they would like to filter on their music to download to their MP3 players. Is there any way to do this? Could I do this by writing a script?

Ideally, a song could appear in more than one list. Yes, sometimes my wife and I like the same song. (And occasionally, I like some of my kid's music.)

Set up some personal playlists. Easiest way to do it.
