The cleanest, fastest, and most reliable way to clean file names? I have quite a number of songs that start with: #, _, *, etc.... or that have that garbage in them. Input please? Thanks much.

If your tags are all correct you could use Auto-Organize Files which renames the files (including folders if needed) based on the tags of the songs.

I had 35k (yes 35 thousand) mp3's which had a lot of problems. I used this program which I highly recommend to fix my library. It took me a few minutes to get the hang of the program but it is truly a brillant piece of software once you figure it out.
