I have just installed MM3 and if I have understood previous threads correctly, levelling playback volume does not change the original file but appends information about the peak volume in the MM3 Library. This is then interpreted in playback and CD burning if switched on at the time.
Can anyone think of a rationale for using this option for CDs except for compilations from multiple sources? If so is the 89dB default level as good as any?
I want to burn FLAC files to CDs (in CD format). Is MM3 as good as any other burning software or does anyone know of any better?
Thanks and regards,
