After selecting several mp3 files and choosing Songs|Calculate Normalization I get two different error messages (depending on the file being read).
Error: "Problem with Decoding File..."
After pressing OK I get another error dialog box "Don't Know How to Decode File..."
The other error I get (depending on the mp3 file) is a dialog box stating "Cannot Open File...
Followed by "Don;t Know How to Decode File...
In both cases, I can no longer play the mp3 file using Songs-db. I can play them with NeroPLayer, however.
None of the files are Read Only.
Any ideas?

Errors When I use Calculate Normalization
Moderator: Gurus
This error happens with mp3 files that are somehow incorrect and internal Windows decoding routines cannot read them. You can use another plug-in, like MAD (see plugins.php page) and playback will be probably ok, but unfortunatelly there is currently no way to calculate the normalization for such files, because Songs-DB uses Windows mp3 routines in this case anyway.

Re: Errors When I use Calculate Normalization
Thanks for the fast reply. Since the Normalization works fine on certain files and not on others, I assume that on those that failed the Normailzation I can no longer play these on Songs-db, correct?
Also, I noticed that one those files that were successfully Normalized, the percent Normalized shows, but later after restarting my computer and using Songs-db, the column shows as "not calculated." Why is this?

Normalization figures not showing up
If I click on a song that has been repviously Normalized, the information appears. It seems by default all of the songs are reported as "Not Calculated." Shouldn't the application find the Normalization data whenever I start the application?
I tried rescanning the database and refresh bu no change.
