Album Art

I am trying to force MM3 to continue to store album art covers in ......\my pictures\album art\... directory which is the option I used in MM2. When I place c:\ etc into the path in options the ":" seems to be replaced by "-" in the path when I try to file the album art after finding it on amazon. The result is that the album art is stored in a number of sub-folders under the album directory.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Is there any other way of getting around the problem.
