how to control inter-track gap

Post by Newmarket2 »

New user. Love the interface!
Tracks start playing instantaneously when the prior one ends.
Can I control this - specifically, I'd like to insert a short (1 sec) gap for most albums, but keep it gapless for others (like Opera)

silence/gap between tracks/songs

You can control the crossfade and silence removal under Tools > Options > Output plug-ins, select the active output plug-in and click configure to configure the plugin.

You can use this script to add silence between tracks, but I don't know if it can be setup for certain tracks.

Got it! Thanks....seems to work.
But, it does seem to be set for everything - not associated with a track or filter type or.....

Do you know if that might be available in the Gold version?

No, this is a script which is unrelated to which version of MediaMonkey you use. If you wish for this feature please write this request in the scripts thread so you can discuss it with the author. I assume this can be done by using Genre or a Custom field to enable/disable the gap automatically.

You can disable crossfading for any filter in the Gold version (File | Manage Filters)
