Copy album art from one tag to another?

Post by GeraldB »

I have three mp3 files for a certain band (Whetstone Run). The three song files are from three different albums. One of the three displays album art contained in the tag. The other two do not. All my art is filed in tags, not elsewhere. I am unable to find Album art to add to those two files. Is there a way to add the art from file 1 to the tags for files 2 and 3?

Open up the art in the properties panel, right click, Save as. then go to the other tracks art tab in properties and click the "Add" button.

Excellent. I didn't know I could right-click. I have several cases where this will be a big help. Thanks for the quick answer Nohitter.

Also, if you select all three tracks together and then go to the Album Art properties panel, the art from the-one-album-you-have-art-for will show.
Check the box at the bottom to "apply to all selected tracks" and click OK. Now all the tracks have the same art.

BTW, thanks nohitter151. I didn't know about Save As in album art either.
