Quick help with sorting...

Post by ljudson » Sat Mar 28, 2009 10:37 pm

Hi: Quick question.... When I display my tracks in MediaMonkey in "Artist & Album Artist" view, it displays tracks sorted by Artist, Album, and track number. Everything looks great. But, when I click to sort by "Added," it sorts with higher track numbers first. So, if I want to play the five or six albums I most recently added, it will play them all, but starting with the last track up to the first. How can I get the sorting to sort by "Added," then "Artist", then "Album", then "Track Number" (lowest to highest, or 1-10) in that order?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You can't, because your tracks are sorted by the Added date and time. MM adds tracks one at a time, so the time each was added is slightly different.

You could create a filter where Added has to be greater then say one week, month, year ago etc. and then sort by artist, Album and track.
