My database is 217MB. It continues to grow add more tracks. I am up to 18,568 files, 1275.4 GB of data so it adds up fast. And with all this I am fully up and running within 60 seconds, at most of loading MM3 :)

Oh...yeah me too. 20,000 files plus and growing on a stand-alone computer.
And it is fast. But the question was on a LAN.

I will try and access it next week, over a LAN, as my setup at home is just my PC and I won't have my laptop until sometime next week.

I will update once I have done some more testing and gone back to 3.x instead of 3.1 betas.

What is your network? Do you access over WiFi a/b/g/n or cable net 10/100/1000 Mbps? On what machine/device is the database located, is it fast enough? Is your local machine fast enough? Do you have enough memory on both sides? Do other operations on the network also seem slow or is only MediaMonkey slow when using this network location. Did you change your database robustness?

In any case I think a debug log as described in the Bug Report forum would be a good idea as others have been struggling with multi-user databases as well. I don't know how widespread the issue is, but any detailed information would be welcome so the developers can see what's happening.

I believe I found my problem. MagicNodes. After re-moving the extension, MM is fast across my network
