Thanks - Now the Media Monkey software keeps telling me to 'insert cd', but it's already in the drive. I've tried several cds, but it's not recognizing any. I am able to play other cds in the drive. I'm using cd-r disks. On the outside of the drive it says RW, does that make a difference?

Try the latest 3.1.2 beta and see if that fixes the issue: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 34522&sd=d
