Unable to listen to streaming audio through proxy

Hi!

I've been searching the forum and support site without any success. I'm trying to listen to streaming audio, right now digitally imported chillout channel, but the audio never starts, just skips to the next one item in the playlist after a while. I downloaded winamp to check and it worked. How can I troubleshoot this problem? There is no error message, it just skips to the next track. I wanted to check here before creating a ticket..

MediaMonkey Gold 3.1.0.1256

What is the stream URL (maybe MM doesn't support that streaming format) and also did you enter your proxy settings in the MM options? (if so, can you connect to the internet with MM via auto-tag from web, web node, etc?)

Hi again,

missed that I got a reply here. Thought I hade notify on reply. The Digitally Imported Chillout channel from http://www.di.fm are for example http://scfire-dtc-aa05.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1035 and http://scfire-chi-aa04.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1035. Actullay the problem seems intermittent as MM skips through the playlist again and again, until maybe it works, or I have given up and started Winamp instead.

I have proxy set up in the MM options and when I try to auto-tag from web I get "Couldn't show results: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request". The web-node gives me the web pages (like amazon.com) when I try right now. It is very confusing and hard to track down. Is there any log output somewhere?

/K

That is due to this:

The radio station doesn't work here either, I guess it is in a format that MM doesn't support.
