It's not supported by MM, but you could add playback thru MM by installing the Winamp 2 plugin from here:

It plays them as one GIANT file...

how do I get it to use the cue file?

I guess you'll need to find an MM add-on for cue files. It doesn't use them natively.

For some reason this isn't working for me.
The files still suggest VLC as the only option... even after downloading and installing the link above.
I manually change to open MM and when I try to open file nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you've copied the Winamp plugin to the correct location? It should be in the MM plugins folder.

When I try and open the .exe, it tells me:
"Winamp wasn't detected on this system. Please, install latest Winamp version from Winamp.com before you can install Winamp Icon package. Winamp installation will be aborted."
I guess somehow converting them, into a friendlier file type, (with MM) is out of the question?

You may have to install Winamp, then the plugin, then move the installed file into the MM plugins folder.
