I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
Man,
I've read every thread on this I think, and done it all. I've got today's version, before that I had the debug version of it, and it's still crashing.
I've done the clean install, and moved the *.db and moved the iPone.dll, and I'm still crashing.
I do have Acronis but not the know bug I don't think, and anyway, I don't autostart any of there processes.
Any thoughts?

No I can try that, well what would that mean exactly?
No processes are running. Should I un-install?

Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
Ok, I went in and disabled, *(quarantined) the two Acronis Processes, though they were not running. I also stopped a few SQL items like SQL express, SQL server browser, SQL server active directory Helper - don’t know what they are really, might be there with Visual Studio 8 and 10. I scrutinized all the non-Microsoft services and the processes.
Wow, I’m just really lost here. I love my lifetime Gold Monkey, don’t know anything that even compares.
Still crashing...

Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
Thanks nohitter151 for working with me.
I've gotten the debug log. Should I post it?
It's not too illuminating to me, but that doesn't mean much.
Here are the last 4 lines:
PlaylistSongs.IDSong IN (SELECT ID FROM Songs ORDER BY LastTimePlayed DESC LIMIT 200) GROUP BY PlaylistSongs.IDPlaylist) LIMIT 10
00011759 1367.17065430 [7204] 10376 DB lock finished, took 1094.
00011760 1368.36804199 [7204] Winamp simulation window received messsage 799
00011761 1368.36804199 [7204] Winamp sim - message left to the default processing
00011762 1368.36853027 [7204] Winamp sim - message left to the default processing
Nothing else mentioned about other processes or being locked out.
With the debug load, the iPone dll is back, and it kind of chokes on that and it doesn't find an ipod device.
hmm?

Those lines don't show anything, post the whole thing in [/code] brackets.

Ok, thank you... I left in a few lines of that invalid parameter in case it may be relevant.
It's from Firefox, not sure why I'm getting the error yet, but hears the rest of the code.

Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
I don't see any indication of a crash in the log you've provided.
I am still suspicious that Acronis is the culprit though, and that you'll need to fully disable it (even if only momentarily) to ensure that it isn't the problem.

Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
Yea, I don't see the crash either, but I can assure it's happening. Your hunch on Acronis may be right, I noticed in the debuger log that whenever I open my Windows Explorer replacement (Directory Opus) that Acronis is showing up in the context menu. Though it must be hidden as I don't see it in any right clicks that I do.
I'll pursue that and see.
Thanks again for your help.

Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
Yes I did try that, though I might again, but I never use the "non-stop" monitoring by Acronis, don't even think it's an option in my "home" version. I'm going open up the ole autoruns though and see if I can nix this context menu stuff and see what happens.
Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
Well, I don't know I uninstalled Acronis and still no luck. I guess I'll try calling Media Monkey Support.

Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
A ray of hope - maybe. I set up a new profile on my machine, win 7 sys, and Media Monkey ran fine from there... so what does that tell me? Hmm
Re: I know, I know, but still "Audio library has stopped..."
Something in your Autorun (use StartupCPL), and check Services in Windows Task Manager to see if there is any leftovers.
Re Acronis: Based on some user reports Acronis is capable to do non-stop incremental backups on selected folders not on whole HDD, but I do not have Acronis apps installed to test myself.
