Problem updating database to newest version.

Post by DaveFrischknecht » Mon Nov 30, 2009 7:28 pm

Hello,

I've been using the latest version of MediaMonkey for quite a while now with no problems, but for some reason when I tried to load MM just now, it gave me an error message stating "There was a problem with updating database to the newest version." Is there any way to fix the problem without losing the songs I had on the now playing list? Many thanks.

Dave.

Install the prior version of MM that you were using, and run it. When it opens go to File > Maintain Library and check Optimize database (Complete)". Then, when that's finished, close MM, restart, and reinstall the latest version.
