Add leading 0 to track number/file name

Postby MoniqueMonkey » Sat Apr 14, 2012 7:09 pm

Hi

I would like to add a leading 0 to my track numbers so that when I sort the files by Track Name Track 2 shows up before Track 10

in other words change 1 2 3 4 etc to 01 02 03 04 etc

To Track# or to Filename?

Filename use <Track#:2> in Auto-Organize Files
Track# you can use viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28510&hilit=regexp or viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14822&hilit=case+and+leading+zero

And how can I do that during a CD Rip?
If I use
Code: Select all
D:\Temp\Music\<Album Interpret>\<Album>\<Song#> - <Titel>
I get tracks with
1 - TitleOfSong1.mp3
2 - TitleOfSong2.mp3
...
9 - TitleOfSong9.mp3
10 - TitleOfSong10.mp3

I would like to have it named immediately after the rip like:
01 - TitleOfSong1.mp3
02 - TitleOfSong2.mp3
...
09 - TitleOfSong9.mp3

Ahhhh, I think I found it:
Code: Select all
D:\Temp\Music\<Album Interpret>\<Album>\<Song#:2> - <Titel>

We can adjust the number of leading zeroes with :2 or :3 or whatever is needed. Maybe this can help others too?
