Auto Tag from filename blank

Hi all

I'm having issues with the new build of MM. 4.0.3.1476

I always name my files "Track No - Artist - Title - Year" then use auto tag from filename to tag them as such: <track#> - <artist> - <title> - <year>.

I have a couple of tracks where the artist field won't update, it just remains blank, even if I change the name of the artist.

It is also happening on tracks that simply have Artist - Title

It would be useful if we can see the Filename in your screenshots.

The filenames are in the screenshots. First shot is the filename, second is the MM auto tag screen.

I'd still like to see the full filename as this works without problems for me. Perhaps you may want to try a \ in front of the mask.

Well this is the folder.

All tracks work correctly apart from B4. But it isn't just that file, there's a few others that it won't recognise either.

Try putting a backslash prior to the mask:
\<Track#> - <Artist> - <Title> - <Year>

So weird that it doesn't work for you. Maybe try to reinstall?

Ever find a solution to this? I have the exact same problem....almost seems like there's something that doesn't allow artists with short filenames to get tagged properly... I have a bunch like Yes, OMD, DMX, 2Pac, etc...and tagging from filename isn't working...and my tags are VERY simple...Artists-Title.mp4...that's it..
