Player Info reversed?

The player displays Track Name - Artist instead of Artist - Track Name. I checked in Playback rules and in ''Summary Format for Individual Files'' the player has the following info : $if(<Artist>,<Artist> - ,)<Title> - So I guess it has to display Artist before, right?

What to do?

Did you set the rule for the correct Type? Also are the tags of the file played correct? For me $if(<Artist>,<Artist> - ,)<Title> in the Player field shows it correctly (on 4.0.6.1499).

Hey lowlander,

I think I set the rule for the correct type - in Music (I'm not sure if this is what you mean). I'm afraid the tags of the file are correct (ths happens to all my music library).

I'm using the latest MM beta 4.0.6.1499 as well.

Hi again,

I changed the setting for the player by removing what was written ($if(<Artist>,<Artist> - ,)<Title>) and now its empty.It's still displaying track name - Artist (where I guess it should show blank) and also tried putting a ''-''. you think this is normal?

Changing to - changes it to - on the Player (for the next song). Are you sure you're changing Player and not Art View?

Yes I am changing it in the player and not in the Art View. I double-checked.

I even tried uninstalling / reinstalling..no good.
