DVD trying to use MM to play

Postby hoges in wa » Wed Aug 15, 2012 2:14 am

I have a DVD in the D-drive tray. When I click on it to play, MM starts and tries (unsuccessfully) to play it.

I have Toshiba DVD Player selected as my intended DVD player in my Windows Control Panel
I have no boxes ticked in the MM Options section to play any DVDs

yet it still tries to use MM.

Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

Also, the DVD automatically starts playing when I turn on my PC in the morning, even though I have deselected Autoplay in the Autoplay options. Can anyone tell me why?

thanks

You may want to try disabling DVD associations including extensions under Tools > Options > OS Integration in MediaMonkey.

Hi Lowlander,
I have every single box in the OS extension page unticked - that's what I meant by my comment about the MM options.
Not one box has a tick in it on the entire page and it still does it. Since I have Autoplay set to "Ust Toshiba DVD Player", something somewhere is invoking MM when I click on it but I have no idea what it can be.
