Removing duplicates based on location?

Postby nzdreamer55 » Thu Aug 23, 2012 10:29 am

Hello :-)

I've got a problem where my files have been duplicated across several locations (as well as with in the same location, however this is a very small part of the whole problem). After having MM import all of my files, I have looked under the Duplicate content tree in my media library and there are 10,560 duplicate files. Most have a 3X or 6X but there are some with 2X and 5X by them.

How can I tell MM I want to keep the copy that is in location "X" and delete the other copies? If a copy does not in location "X" then I don't want MM to delete delete any of the files and I can then go through and choose which one I want to keep. I have looked at the Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix, but it does not seem to do this (maybe I just need some help in how to use it).

Thanks again.

You can't. You could see if Magic Nodes can help: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19168&hilit=magicnodes
