Quick Upgrade Questions

Post by nosfera2 » Wed Dec 26, 2012 4:24 pm

I want to upgrade to Gold, but my current MM version is 3.2.4.1304----Should I update to the latest free version first or just go for the upgrade to gold? (not sure it matters, but I'm running MM on a laptop w/Windows Vista)

lastly, will it save my playlists upon upgrading?

Thanks for your time and help!

It is best to upgrade to MediaMonkey 3.2.5: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... 45&nav=0,2 run File > Maintain Library with complete optimization enabled and then upgrade to MediaMonkey 4.0.7 (latest). It doesn't matter if you upgrade to free or Gold as it is the same installer (you'll install the free version anyway then unlock Gold features by entering your License).

Playlists should be preserved (they're stored in the DB).
