I did a search on "re-rip" but the search engine doesn't seem to like it. Sorry if this is already covered somewhere.
I would like up upgrade my older 128 kbps files to 320 or so. Is there a way that MM will take a look at a CD I insert, see if any of the songs are in my library, re-rip and replace the old file, and keep all the tag data? Am I asking a little too much?
Thanks so much if you can point me in the right direction!

The Duplicate Find & Fix Addon can copy metadata, as well as Play History and Playlist entries from 1 track to another (works on groups of matching tracks as well): http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... nd+%26+fix
