ini file for organize mask(s)?

Post by jennylynne » Thu Dec 25, 2014 2:41 pm

I am creating a rather complex mask for auto-organize, which I have discovered has to be updated in multiple places -- both in the auto-organize configuration screen under tools->options and in the "Rename file(s) based on file properties" screen under File Properties. Then I'm making a change that affects multiple collections' masks, well the number of changes just increases.

So, I was wondering if there isn't a single file I could make the changes in that MM could read the masks from?

No, Auto-organize files uses the ini and auto-organize uses the db. However if you use the latter the former isn't needed.

I've found at the moment while I'm trying to wrangle it, I need them to match. I'm having to correct and fill in missing information.
