Move Main Window to Currently Playing Item

I'm pretty certain that MM used to move the library window to the currently playing track, but that's not happening anymore. Even if, rather then my "Entire Library" main window view I use the "Now Playing" main window view, the main window stays static and does not refresh when tracks are refreshed (most noticeable on shuffle).

This is important to me because I have a large library which is not well tagged, so I like to see & edit the tags of what's playing at the moment.

I've spent about an hour trying various things, and I've spent about an hour registering and searching help wikis, documentation and these forums, to no avail. Am I mistaken, or is there a way to switch this behavior back on?

Circumstances:
MM Gold 4.1.5.1719 with no non-stock addons.
I've also tried more than one skin.
