iTunes Podcast URL Invalid?

I have just started moving over to MM Gold from iTunes. I have an iTunes podcast I've been following for years, but when I try to subscribe in MM it says URL is invalid. I tried using "Feedflipper", but it also says URL is invalid. URL is (cut and paste from iTunes) http://www.japanesepod101.com/basic_feed/feed.xml.
What am I doing wrong?

Did you put in a username and password as that is required for this Podcast?

Yes, but it never gets that far. It just says "unrecognized protocol". I assume it's an iTunes issue, but when I tried to convert the URL in "flipmonkey" it also says it is an invalid URL.

When you subscribe in MediaMonkey you can enter the credentials, I saw no error preventing me from doing so.
