MediaMonkey fails to start.

Post by owenj117175 »

I get the following error message on program start.

Library file C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\MM.DB can't be opened, would you like to create a new local library?

Clicking Yes or Retry has no effect.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Open the task manager and make sure the process is stopping/terminating.

It often indicates that MediaMonkey is still running (can be the Service). So yes, using the Task Manager to make sure MediaMonkey is no longer running should do the trick.
