install itunes prompt [#14145]

Post by peppergomez »

Hey folks,

I'm noticing that when I plug in my ipod classic, that MM prompts me to install iTunes to autosync. This seems like a new message. I don't want iTunes on my computer, so I'm wondering what's up with this, and whether that means I need to have iTunes installed to work with MM and my ipod. I never have before.

Usually iTunes is needed so that all apple drivers work as they should.

What model of iPod Classic you have?

MM is asking for iTunes?

Post by Onweerwolf »

So, i've recently upgraded to a more recent MM version and now everytime I connect an iPod I get this message.

I can click it away and my iPod syncs fine as it always has.

But why do I get this message? We don't need iTunes to sync, right? I haven't had that piece of failware installed in many years.

Can i get rid of this message popping up?
