Various problems

Post by willyvds »

Since a week or two I am having various problems with MM. I don't know if they are related
- I cannot tag multiple files at once. If I tag one song, it works fine. If I tag multiple files (eg modifying the genre for a complete album), MM hangs.
- Magic Nodes doesn't work very well. If I click on a node to expand it, sometimes it works, sometimes it works but very slowly and sometimes MM hangs.

I have updated to MM 1853 but this doesn't help. Any ideas what I could do?

Regards, Willy

1) The latest beta may fix this: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 54426&sd=d
2) Check with Magic Nodes for any issues with it: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... agic+nodes

How much RAM do you have?
Do you have other programs running while using MM?
What does your RAM look like during process (check task manager)?

It's more likely a database problem. Try optimize database (complete).
