I have a portable install of MM that has worked great. Now, of course, with the new IOS update Monkey won't sync. I downloaded and installed the latest update today, 4.1.19.1859, and this install seemed to act different that previous ones but I really don't know as I update as little as possible.
Monkey went through the install process and then it went through the process of adding all my music; I don't remember previous updates doing so. And, when done my old DB wasn't "found", seems like in the past MM automatically found my current DB. Once I install the new version how to I "connect" my old DB?
My laptop shortcut also still points to the old install not the new one; I have no idea where the new install is located. Seems like this install is very different from previous ones.

Re: Portable Install of MM, trouble updating
Sounds like you either (or both) didn't choose the Portable Install folder to install to or didn't select Portable Install in the installer and thus did a different install.
