Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files

Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
I was wonder if anybody has a solution for the following issue I am having with MediaMonkey.
Every time I add/rescan files to the library files are added a second, third, fourth time to the library. This only happens when I enable Automatically Organize files. When I turn this of and restart MM add do another add/rescan files to the library the files are not duplicated.
This is what i see as file names in the library:
01 - Artist - Title (2).flac
01 - Artist - Title.flac
01 - Artist - Title.flac
02 - Artist - Title (2).flac
02 - Artist - Title.flac
02 - Artist - Title.flac
This is what i see in the Windows Explorer:
01 - Artist - Title.flac
02 - Artist - Title.flac
Below are the Auto-Organize rules I have in MM:
Genres: A Capella, Adult, AudioBooks, Bagpipe, Chanson, Christmas, Gregorian, Kinderen, Meditative; Nederlandstalig; New Age; Parody
\\mynas\Multimedia\Music-Genres\
<Genre>\$RemovePrefix(<Album Artist>)\<Album> (<Year>)
<Track#> - <Artist> - <Title>
Collections:Losse Nummers
\\mynas\Multimedia\Music\LooseTracks\
<Album Artist@1>\$RemovePrefix(<Album Artist>)
<Track#> - <Artist> - <Title>
Genres:Soundtrack
\\mynas\Multimedia\Music\Soundtrack\
<Album>
<Track#> - <Artist> - <Title>
Collections: Verzamelalbums
\\mynas\Multimedia\Music\Verzamelalbums\
$if(<Verzamelalbum Serie>,<Verzamelalbum Serie>)\$if(<Original Date>,<Original Date>)\$RemovePrefix(<Album>)
<Track#> - <Artist> - <Title>
<Empty>

<Album Artist@1>\$RemovePrefix(<Album Artist>)\$RemovePrefix(<Album>) (<Year>)
<Track#> - <Artist> - <Title>
MediaMonkey 4.1.19.1859
Any help is much appriciated.

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
Does MediaMonkey (the Windows User it's run as) have rights to delete files in the NAS? It would seem that Auto-Organize is duplicating files.

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
Hi Lowlander,
Thanks for your reply.
At file level all works well.
When I edit Album Artist names with "Automaticly Organize" files on the music files are move to the new Album Artist name folder and the files are gone under the old artist folder.
The problem is pure in the MM Library, If I would rescan the folder for some reason, I would get duplicated file entries only in the MM Library not at file level.

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
So you're saying that:
01 - Artist - Title (2).flac
01 - Artist - Title.flac
01 - Artist - Title.flac
02 - Artist - Title (2).flac
02 - Artist - Title.flac
02 - Artist - Title.flac
in reality is only 2 files on the hard drive?

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
Correct.
This is with the portable version of MM and the full installer.
I' am about to reinstall the machine when MM is installed on, I'll try again after reinstallation.

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
Reinstalled Windows 10 on Laptop (Clean install)
Installed MM.
Used empty database that came with the install.
Manually added the Collections settings and filters.
Manually added Auto Sort configurations.
Added Add-Ons
Did a couple of imports of an artist folder and all looked well.
Closed MM and restarted it.
Saw straight away multiple album duplicate's, Checked file locations and the sources files are single.

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
Capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
With all the snow in the Netherlands today, i took some time to further investigate and it look like I would the cause.
I have a Drive Mappping M: which goes to \\nas\Multimedia\Muziek
I have Media Monkey importing from this drive.
Automatic Organize Files how ever is told to go to directly to \\nas\Multimedia\Muziek (So not the drive mapping).
I did this in the believe that it would be best not to have songs pointing to a drive letters in the database.
If I keep the import reading from M: and Automatic Organize Files also pointing to M: all seems to work well.
Also if I use the UNC path for both all goes well.
Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.

Re: Multiple same files after Automatically Organize files
The advice is to use only UNC as Mapped Drives can get a new driveID from Windows and this causes the files to become Dead Links in MediaMonkey. (fix is easy though: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... n+database)
