MM Not Responding

I've been using MM for years now. I had a windows 7 pc and ripped my CD's to an external Seagate 4TB HDD (I have 3.8 TB still available space). I was able to rip and play CD's with no problem except for one cd I wasn't able to rip (which I never ripped into the system as it wouldn't read on the drive). I recently got a new Dell XPS pc running Windows 10. I downloaded MM Gold for which I have a lifetime license and am running version 4.1.19.1859. I connected the external HDD and had no problems playing my music.

Today, I attempted to rip 3 CD's onto the external HDD and the ripping process went off without a hitch. The problem occurs when I attempt to play the newly ripped tracks. MM locks up and becomes "not responding". I ended the process and restarted the computer and MM. I then deleted the 3 newly ripped titles and closed MM. I launched it again and tried to rip them again and once again the process went off without a hitch. When trying to play them back the same result occurred and I had to restart the computer. Upon restart, I "removed" the 3 newly ripped CD's by right clicking and removing each track. I closed MM and launched MM. Everything works fine and I can playback any of the files I had installed from the old computer onto the external HDD. Any idea what could be causing the new ripping process to create files to be unable to be played?

I listened to all three CD's in my car stereo and played them again using MM when the disc was in the tray. It's only when I attempt to play the tracks from the external HDD that it locks up MM yet all the old files on the HDD work fine. MM shows that I have 50,380 files, 211.4 GB, 3657:10 atm with the 3 cd's not in the listings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What format (extension) did you Rip them to?

All my old rips and the new rips were ripped as MP3 with bit rates varying from 128 - 196kbps. Since I've deleted the new rips, I'm not sure what bit rate they were at but I know they were MP3 format.

Try to play one of the new Rips by opening it from Explorer with MediaMonkey. Does it still fail?
