ripping CDs
Two questions - 1) Will it prevent me from ripping a CD twice? 2) Will it look up coverart and other info online and update?
Re: ripping CDs
Hi,
Welcome to MMW.
1. If you try to RIP CD second time in preview you will get red marked tracks which would mean that destination already exists.
2. As soon as you insert CD it will be searched for Metadata on FreeDB unless CD contains CD0Text metadata that would be the used. Regarding Album art and lyrics you can set MMW to Auto Search for that in Options.
Hope that answers your questions, but as RIP is Free if you choose license free codec like FLAC (my preferable codec for RIP as it is lossless) you can easily test all.
