Bluesound?

Is there a way I can use my new Bluesound network speaker with Windows MM. I know I could use Bluetooth, but that defeats the purpose of a wifi streaming device. The player that Bluesound gives you is a toy compared to MM.

Thanks for any help.

If it has DLNA capability right click on the Player in MediaMonkey and select Choose Player. It should show.

Sadly, no DLNA. Any other option?

Are you sure, if it's a network speaker it often has DLNA capability.

For now you only have DLNA, PC audio out or PC Bluetooth from MediaMonkey. MediaMonkey 5 will also have Chromecast support.

I doesn't seem so. From the Bluesound Help pages:

----
Q
Does BluOS support UPNP?

A
Bluesound does not support UPnP or DLNA. BluOS Storage Devices such as the Bluesound VAULT or NAD M50.2 do not have a UPnP or DLNA server on board. BluOS is able to connect to Windows, Mac, Linux and most NAS systems using conventional file sharing methods.

Please see our support documentation on connecting your iTunes or Windows Media Player Library

However, just to be sure, I've contacted their tech support. If they say anything surprising, I'll post it here.

That's a big omission for a network player. In that case you'd just need a File Share on your PC with your media, and this would not involve MediaMonkey.

Depending on how things are done maybe it would be possible to export MMW library into iTunes one (Via external plugin) and full it to import.

Badly designed player.
