how to modify search source for playlists

Post by bsheckler01 » Wed Aug 01, 2018 6:40 pm

What is the best method to modify the "search" field in "auto playlist criteria ?
Right now, my options are Entire Library, Music, Classical Music, podcast, Audiobook, Music Video, Video, and TV.
I am trying to just search for *.flac files, and skip all the .mp3, and .wav files, etc.
I am using the Advanced mode and searching for "artist" "equals" "x,x,x,x,x,x"
I seem to be getting reasonable results, except that I have to purge the duplicate files of the incorrect format manually.
Thanks for the help.

use the Advanced tab instead and add the criteria Extension = Flac, note you can only use rhe Advanced tab in that case, thus you'll need to set all your search Criteria there.

Excellent!
I was oring together several search strings to get specific albums, but if I just do artist searches and "And" them this work great.
Thank You.
