Song labels from ripped CD

Song labels from ripped CD
I'm a novice MM user with a basic question: I'm ripping a stack of CD's this morning and am having trouble getting the artist, album, song info included when the CD is ripped. When I ripped the first one, I was prompted to choose something like "data from web" (not the exact words. On subsequent ones, I received no such prompt, and songs are coming through as Track 1, 2, 3, etc. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Re: Song labels from ripped CD
It only prompts if multiple results were found in FreeDB for the same disc. This lookup only works for commercial Audio CDs (not self-burned or data CDs) and if the disc is available in FreeDB. You can do it manually using Tools > Get album info from freedb.

Re: Song labels from ripped CD
Also it can be useful to fill Album and Album Artist and before you RIP do a Web Tag search to fill rest.
