Problem adding new album

I have been using MM for many years and love it, but today it is letting me down. I have loaded a new CD onto my NAS and done what I usually do via INS. However, the album does not show up in my library. I have updated to the latest version, restarted the PC and MM, but no luck.

Have you tried to do advanced search by Path/filename and have you tried to see if MMW see Album when browsing My computer Tree nodes?

It is very possible that Type of files are incorrectly assigned.

Use Entire Library > Location and navigate to the folder to verify that it isn't in the Library (enable under File > Manage Collections).

There are several ways to look for a "can't find" album that you have just added. I prefer to use Playlists - Recently Added Content and then scroll down to the date you added the tracks. This way you don't need to know - or guess - at any of the parameters, tags, or type of the tracks. If you added it, it will be in this playlist.
