MM 4.1.23.1881 minor auto-DJ bug

For no discernible reason 4.1.23.1881 auto-DJ will just stop playing after a song or 3. This is a minor nuisance. There is no error and I can simply hit play again but it will replay the last song it was playing. Hitting Next plays the next track normally. I have a mix of FLAC and MP3 and it does not seem to make any difference what kind of file was playing.

Try to Set Maintain 1 instead of 20 and make sure you disabled Shuffle.

Nope - after about 1.5 hours of yard work I've come back to it inexplicably stopped again.

When you open the Playlist you're using after playback is stopped does it have files on it?

@ Lowlander - it will have the configured number of files queued up. As suggested I currently have it set for 1 file, I will have the last played, the currently (should be) playing and the next up in the Auto DJ/Now Playing list.

@ Peke - I cannot say when it stopped. When I took a break about 1/2 way through my yard work it was playing, and I thought it was fixed, but after coming back to my PC post yard work it had stopped.

I'm thinking this isn't a problem from MM side (well, MM could try to be a bit more patient!), but an issue with performance on my media server. I've noticed my server will occasionally go Not Responding for several seconds now and then. I need to do a surface test on a couple drives. These Not Responding events seem to correlate with MM stopping playing.

This looks like your server is set power save mode as few secs can easily be HDD spin ups to.
