Why does MM make it so difficult to import music files??

Post by Leslie MacDill » Mon Sep 09, 2019 2:48 pm

I left iTunes because one of their past "upgrades" wiped out my entire music library and "vacuumed" all of my back-up files. But now that I have MM, I'm finding that it is a pain in the butt to upload my CDs. In fact, I haven't been able to successfully do it once. Is it a matter of nomenclature that I'm just not getting? It is anything but intuitive. Help!

It works just fine for me. What problem(s) are you running into?

When I do import music files from a CD, they are entered as non-functioning and grey in color as opposed to functioning files that are white.

How are you importing them? You need to Rip a CD to your PC to have it work: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... om_CDs/4.0
