[SOLVED] Using external video player?

Post by Finsternis »

MM used to have an option to have the use the default system video player to play videos instead of the-built in one. I used that for a long time but had an issue and had to redownload and reinstall MM. I have looked and looked through every page of settings and can't find it again. Am I missing it? Was it moved? Or REmoved? Thanks.

Hi,
Under Tools -> Options -> Player if you select MediaMonkey Player you can check Use Default external video player eg. one that Erwin showed in his post.

You can also change to Winamp 2 or 5 player and then you can select External player like VLC to play media files from MMW.

Thanks. I guess I forget you could click on the group header, I was just looking in the subgroups of settings.
