Very sad day indeed. I encourage you to find some Etta James in your MM library and give it a listen. If you don't have any, go buy it. I recommend "Life, Love, and the Blues."

I am also very sad about it. I grew up listening to her music and I got great memories from my childhood. Apart from getting sad, I also got a bit angry because many friends don’t know who she was. In any case, the suggestion you made is just great. Life Love & The Blues is one of favorite albums so I suggest people buy it. It’s a must have.
