If I already have the same song on my Ipod, and I change the tag on MediaMonkey and resync it. I will get 2 of the same song with different tags. Is this suppose to happen? I thought MediaMonkey can detect the same song automatically and just replace the old song with the new song.

Right now, I'm basically restoring my Ipod before every sync.

It is supposed to happen if you are just copying the track to the iPod via manual sync. Only if you use the "auto-sync" method of syncing will it intelligently check/update and avoid duplicates.
