add new file type to autoconvert on sync

Post by bujinkantd »

Hello

I am running MMW Gold 4.1.21.1875. I have a few files from iTunes that are AIFF. I installed the wave plugin that handles AIFF files and they import and play fine. However, when I try to sync them to my Galaxy S9 I receive an error that all of the AIFF files are not supported by the device. AIFF is not a selectable file format in the autoconvert incompatible files to mp3 menu within the sync settings. Is there a way to add AIFF so that these files will be converted to mp3 and synced properly?

Thanks

You don't have to use the Unsupported Format rule. Instead you can set specific formats that you want converted (if you have any that require so).

Hi,
Why simply do not convert (COPY TO NEW Location) those AIFF into FLAC and keep Original and gain multiple devices support. If I read rumors correctly Apple finally accepted FLAC as supported format.
